Mapping

Unlike many other comparable systems, ZEDI is truly able to map data from any machine-readable format to any other format. More.

EDI standards

ZEDI currently contains definitions for over 11000 EDI message types of various standards and versions, with new definitions being added periodically. More.

Workflow

ZEDI allows workflows to be defined for specific combinations of transaction type and trading partner. This is done by defining a sequence of actions that need to be performed on each type of transaction.

For example, “EDI Extract” then “Map the file” then “Post transaction”. More.

Reference data

ZEDI stores information for lookup tables and registers in a form that can be easily maintained and managed. It also captures metadata from each transaction to aid in searches and workflow control. More.

On-line transactions

Not all trading partners have the systems and software that allow them to generate and process EDI transactions automatically. Typically, these are low-volume customers and suppliers who would normally exchange orders with your business manually.

ZEDI supports the exchange of information with these partners via an on-line system. More.

Communications functions

ZEDI has native support for a wide variety of communications methods, allowing great flexibility in the way transactions can be exchanged between trading partners and your business systems. More.

Management

ZEDI has a number of management functions that allow you to manage your list of users, security certificates and account usage.

There is also a “Downloads” section where you can retrieve the latest documentation as well as the installers for the ZEDI developers toolkit. More.
